Periodic table of cupcakes

100_2195Lets Get Started:
  1. Preheat the oven to 350.
  2. Prepare the cake batter. You will need 118 cupcakes.
  3. Fill each muffin cup 2/3 full. Bake the cupcake until a toothpick can be inserted and it will come out clean, 18- 20 minutes.
  4. Let cupcakes cool completely before decorating.
  5. The food coloring colors you will need are 6 Gray,6 Red, 6 Electric Green,7 Electric Orange,7 Leaf Green,7 Electric Yellow,11 Electric Pink,15 Royal Blue,15 Sky Blue, and 38 Purple.

Time To Decorate:

  1. Using a decorating bag fitted a #807 tip, frost all the cupcake in their right color.
  2. In the microwave or a double broiler, melt the white candy melts. Pipe about 1/4 into a silicon mold. Let it cool for 10 minutes.
  3. When the white candy squares have hardened, pop them out. Repeat this process until you have 118 squares.
  4. Make Royal Icing. Mix Black food coloring in till it is a solid black. Scoop the icing into a decorating bag fitted with a #2 tip and pipe the element abbreviations onto your squares. Switch the tip to a #1 tip and pipe the element numbers in the up right-hand corners with black icing.
  5. Place each square on the center of each cupcake. Then, organize the cupackes by the  family colors you choose. Arrange your finished cupcakes into the periodic table of cupcakes!!!!!!!!1
